When it is hard to see

I guess that I have been pretty busy.... I have not taken the time to write. It may not be anything for you but for me it makes me feel better. I will make this short. I have been doing all I can. I am out so much that I never seem to stop. It seems as if it is one project to another. Many would say this is great!!!! YA, but the problem is that it is not always a paying job. I have done so much charity. I am told that the exposure will help to "BLOW ME UP" (business wise). I hope they are right because all I have is faith. I hope that is enough! I feel like I have done so real good. We were invited to Brookgreen Gardens to display a gingerbread house (a huge honor), check it out, but.... http://www.brookgreen.org

Why do I feel like I am sinking? Oh, man......

To hunt or not?

This past weekend I had a great experience. This experience may be controversial but it was a mind releasing experience! I was invited to go deer hunting! This was something that I had never done before and can not wait to do again.

The night before I started to get ready for the hunt. I was told I needed nothing but..... well that's not me. I did convince myself not to take my day hike backpack but... I did however take a roll of TP (just in case), a leatherman, hand sanitizer, rubber gloves, shooting glasses, water, a snack bar, flashlight, chap stick, cell phone and many layers of clothing.

The clothes were very very very important........ it was COLD and sitting on a small ass chair makes it really really cold!!!!!!

The rest well not so much when you park right there!

Anyways,... it is one of the most peaceful activities. You are sitting is relative solitude, in nature, in the freshest air!!!! I really feel like it was a mind clearing day.

I know that shooting a deer is well..... for some people horrible. Unless you are a vegetarian, than all the meat you eat was running at one point. Furthermore, if I did kill a deer I planned on eating it. I would never hunt for just sport. God did fill the ark for a reason, he did give man the tools needed to survive. Now we have just become accustom to buying it in stores. This is not a debate blog entry. It is to tell you that sometimes new experiences can be wonderful, more than expected.

If you wonder outside the box you may find a world you never thought was around you. I enjoyed hunting. I will go again!

Strive to become more, try more, do more..... FEEL LIFE!!!!! Thank you JUSTIN for my new freedom!

Throw in the chips or the towel?

WOW.... It has been way to long for me to have not written.

Business is going.....Steady,,,,,, and I am OK with steady! Today though is about something greater.

I have a friend, he has probably one of the best workers I have ever seen. I am not just saying this it is true!!!! He puts his all into everything he does. The problem is that the reward for what he does is not equal to the output.

So my question is..... When you put your all into something, when you pour your heart and soul into your goal and you get know place, at that point what do you do quit. Where do you go? Whats next?

If you try, I mean try, to make your job, your life, your friends, your family, better and it all never ever goes beyond the step you took, at what point do you stop?

I would love to help my friend but I am not sure I can!

I would love to know if at that point you are just on the wrong path? Maybe you are like a fish swimming up stream. That stream leads to a bears mouth. That stream is so strong that it is killing you and when you get to the pool at the top, the bear is waiting to eat you!

I know you too maybe are in his position.... I guess we all need to read the Footprints poem and keep the FAITH!!!

Get better with every TRY~

I know that I am not the greatest writer. I know that I am a horrible editor. I think I just think faster than I can type and when I reread I see what I was going to say did not quite type it correctly even though it is not in the writing. I think I try. I really enjoy typing my thoughts. I hope that maybe one of my thoughts can help someone who was searching. I know I find answers to questions in the strangest places, and I know they are in unexpected ones! I keep trying to write because with practice I hope to get better.

Yesterday I was able to help a women by sharing some of what I have learned starting a business. She was so grateful because she did not have the money to hire a consultant and did not know how to begin. I was able to get her started and it was a wonderful feeling. I hope that her and her husband are successful.

My friends are also looking to start a business and I try to aid them all I can. I know they will not regret it if they do it now. I know I should have done it sooner. The days are long, but.....the feeling....the feeling is....unexplainable.

I guess my days are filled with learning experiences. Some things are done correctly- some are not. I try to learn, sometimes I make the mistake again (that really pisses me off) other times I know and am the wiser.

Try, Try,Try...Fall...
Get up.....Fall.....Step.....Step....Fall....Step....Step....Step... and keep on going.......

I tell myself this at every turn I take. Some days are great we sell a bunch, some suck; like having a cupcake and wine tasting on bike weekend next to the roughest bar in Myrtle Beach! Hey.... We learned...

Today I will try something new again.... I may fall, I may fly but I tried!

Good luck! God Bless

Getting the small stuff done

Sometimes we tend to tackle the large projects in life like replacing the roof, fixing the car,and making a great holiday meal. These are all great things to do. These may all be very necessary to get from point A to point B.

This past weekend, my father and I got a big project done. We renovated our upstairs bathroom. This was great! Now that it is done it will help our home value, and it makes us all feel good. However, today is a very stormy and rainy day. Today is a day that we are catching up on the small stuff! Making more flowers for our cupcakes, getting signage and marketing done, cleaning, making boxes, and discussing future projects and events. Looking at the day so far I have noticed that the small stuff is so much larger than the projects that we see as HUGE! The small stuff adds up to a large mountain. I guess this is the same as an argument never resolved, or procrastinating about whatever or anything you just put off or do not face.

I guess we needed the rain, not just because of the drought but because it helps wash away the small stuff!

Good luck and get it done you will feel so great when it is over!

Unexpected

When something unexpected happens it causes a reaction. This reaction may be good or it may be bad. I guess that depends on the unexpected event. I have to admit we had a wonderfully unexpected good week last week. Now, it did not start off all that great, but it did end pretty darn good! I am not saying that we made a whole ton of money, but what we did get was a whole lot of really good people who appreciated our hard work. This was an unexpected, but great feeling!

That was really only the beginning. We have a son who is 10 and looks like he is 6! He is really did I say really tiny! BUT...... he is very I must repeat VERY competitive. Two weeks ago he started football and we were a bit unsure......HE IS TINY!!!! That little sucker can kick some serious ASS..... I mean beat the hell out kids WAY WAY did I say WAY bigger than himself. Unexpected..... HELL YA.... But really cool and really cool to see.

Lastly, we got invited to a friends house and we ALL had a great time. Not that this was unexpected because they are really really.... YES, I am saying it again REALLY great people..... BUT it was UNEXPECTEDLY wonderful..... Both Jennifer and I came home and felt so great to have such a great time. The kids even had a great time, and they behaved.......Unexpectedly that was a bonus......

I hope that you all have some unexpected wonders happen this week.
